With extensive experience in computer programming, graphic design, new media, and web development, I have a unique skill set that allows me to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and comprehensive web experiences for your business and your clients. I am classically trained in HTML and Java coding, but have grown with the times and primarily develop using WordPress and associated technologies. My experience ranges from basic, content only websites for companies and individuals who just need to show who they are, to moderately complex e-commerce sites for small businesses. The examples below are websites that I developed recently that show a wide variety of my capabilities.
Features I Can Provide:
- Basic Text and Graphical Content
- User Account Administration
- E-commerce
- Payment Gateways
- Interactivity (Web Forms, Live Chat, etc.)
- Photo Galleries
- Blog
- Social Media Integration
Wayman's Wire Wrap Jewelry
Wayman's Wire Wrap Jewelry is a small, family owned business who create and sell hand crafted jewelry items. They approached me with a need to be able to sell their products online. The website includes custom product photography, photo galleries, an event calendar, shopping cart functionality with full payment gateway and back-end order management. This website was created in WordPress using a variety of plugins to enable full e-Commerce capabilities.
Elite Salon-Spa-Studio
Elite Salon-Spa-Studio is a full service salon and spa in Franklin, Indiana. While under new ownership, the salon needed a new brand to differentiate themselves from their previous management. Along with marketing services such as logos, business cards, flyers, menus, etc., the owner of Elite also asked me to revamp their website. This website features a blog, informational pages regarding salon services, web forms, and the ability for website visitors to purchase gift certificates online. This website was built in WordPress.
Jessica's Journey
Jessica's Journey is a website that was built for a dear friend of mine who is battling cancer. Jessica's friends and family had joined together to sponsor many fundraising events for Jessica and her family. Once the community support started pouring in, they needed a website to manage all of the activities and to accept online donations. Instead of just creating a GoFundMe account, Jessica's family wanted a legit website that told her story, allowed her to blog about her progress, and gave users a safe and secure method to give donations online. This website features content rich pages with bold graphics to advertise various fundraisers. It also features a blog and online donation feature. This website was developed in WordPress.
Departmental Intranet
Orchard Software Corporation uses an internal intranet site to provide communication for its employees. As a member of the Product Management team within Orchard, we needed a website to store our documents, meeting minutes, diagrams, and other information. Using Atlassian Confluence, I developed this site for the team.
